Original era manufacture. Standard issue IJA canteen with a brown painted aluminum body and green canvas harness and shoulder strap. Wooden stopper with an intact leather securing strap. Several kanji have been scratched into the body of the canteen with others either inked or stitched into the harness and strap. Normal age and wear.
