Original era manufacture. Early war canteen with an all canvas shoulder strap with metal fittings. Clear issue marks on the inside of the strap. The aluminum bottle retains nearly all of its original brown paint finish, correct cork and metal stopper with a leather top strap. On the front of the canteen is handwritten kanji. Clean, honest service use and age.
