Original era manufacture. Aluminum bodied enlisted canteen displaying considerable service use, portions of the original brown paint finish remain, with blackening on the bottom from being placed in a fire to warm the contents.The bottom of the canteen has very clear makers marks visible. No holes, minor denting to the body.
