Original era manufacture. Aluminum bodied enlisted canteen with most of its original brown paint intact. Sound canvas suspension harness with a cloth adjusting slide on its shoulder strap.Original  wood stopper held in place by a cloth strap. Normal age and wear, a very solid example.
