Original era manufacture. Olive brown coarse wool bodied hat, with a brown leather chinstrap. There are stitches around the base of the hat to attach the removable neck flap, lacing in the rear for size adjustment.Open weave, gauze-like cloth lining with faint issue stampings, sound brown leather sweatband. Pentagonal, BeVo style embroidered yellow star on the front of the cap, showing wear from service use. No moth issues or damage, just normal age and wear, from soldier use.
