Original era manufacture. Pale olive green cotton tunic with brown painted steel buttons, 1st Class Private rank insignia on the collar. The tunic is very clean, with clear issue markings on the interior, with no stains, tears or holes. Tunic size about a 38. Dated on the interior Showa 17 (1942).The breeches are a lighter shade of olive green than the tunic, and have seen minimal wear and use, with a 34 inch waistband.  Dated on the pocket lining Showa 19 (1944).Sound, very displayable WWII Japanese Army uniform set.
