Original period manufacture. Blue steel finished helmet with about 70% of its original mudbrown paint surface remaining on the exterior, original to the helmet star. Intact, original brown leather liner with adjusting string.There are markings on the inside of the front liner pad pocket but are not readable due to age and soiling. The original cotton chinstrap is in place but the endshave been shortenedon each side, one more so than the other. Sound, one-looker steel helmet.
