Original era manufacture. Green cotton drill covered wicker body withissue tags on the interior, a simple cloth liner as encountered with this pattern helmet. One of the internal cloth bands has been broken from use.The helmets interior and exterior shows typical wear and use, however the wicker is not crushed or broken. Being a late war example, the yellow cloth star was omitted during it's manufacture, it never had one, no evidence of one being removed can be seen. However, we will include one of our original pith helmet stars in the price.
