Original era manufacture. An issue hat which is date stamped in the lining Showa 13 (1938). Mustard brown wool exterior with imitation fur trim. There is some scattered mothing but most is hidden by the earflaps when they are in the "up" position. The lace chinstrap is intact, handstitched yellow star emblem on front. Shows soldier use and wear.
