Original era manufacture. Rank of Second Lieutenant, gold wire boards with a single silver colored rank star. Black wool attaching straps with laces. The tops of the wire boards show some light fraying from age and wear. Original wooden case with handwritten kanji on its lid. Both top end pieces are missing.
