Original period manufacture. Clean 29 inch chromed steel blade in good repair, no nicks to the cutting edge, with a false temper line along its edge. The blade is fairly straight and shows some scattered areas of wear to the plating, nothing serious. Yellow brass patina to the guard and pommel, intact wire binding and a black hard rubber grip.  There are a few small chips in the grip, maybe two or three. The blade and guard rattle a bit and need a little tightening up. Chromed steel finish to the scabbard with a few very shallow scattered dents and light surface corrosion, which should clean easily.
