Original period manufacture. Clean 27 inch chromed steel blade with a false temper line added to the cutting edge. The blade is fairly straight and made of a good quality steel. There is some scattered areas on the blade where there is some lifting of the plating, and light, surface corrosion. Mellow brass patina to the guard and pommel, intact wire binding and what looks like a horn grip. Guard wiggles just a bit. Nickel finish to the scabbard with some scattered denting and light surface corrosion.
