Original era manufacture. A nice quality sword featuring a 27 inch chrome finished steel blade with a false temper line on the edge. The blade is clean with no issues, running straight and true. Decorative brass grip and guard, with an elaborate decoration indicating the rank of a Field Grade Officer, Major to Full Colonel. Wood or horn grip, without wire binding. Chrome finished steel scabbard with nearly all of the original finish remaining intact. There are a few very shallow dents, but overall the scabbard is quite clean.
