Original era manufacture. A small black leather pouch with a white cotton lining. On the reverse are two small steel grommets, which allow the pouch to be attached to an officers field belt by cord. On the closure flap is a stitched design of an Army star. The contents include a bamboo cigarette holder, and a packet of WWII Japanese cigarettes. A great example of an officers personal item. Normal age and wear overall.
