Original era manufacture. Faded olive green cotton covered body, with fur trim, and a quilted cotton lining. Sewn to the front of the hat is a small wool disc with an embroidered gold wire star at center.The hat displays honest age and wear, but no real damage, it has a great been there look to it. A pattern of hat as worn in China and the Aleutians during WWII.
