Original era manufacture. Mustrard brown wool topped hat with a red wool band and wool piping. Gilt brass star on front, with cherry blossom faced chinstrap buttons. Black patent leather chinstrap and visor. Thin leather sweatband which is split on one side. Black silk lining material with a two inch tear, crudely repaired with tape. Minimal moth issues to the body of the hat, quite clean and presentable.
