Original era manufacture. A very nice quality WWII Japanese Army officer visor hat with a mustard wool color top piped in red wool. Red wool cap band decorated with a brass star. Bound black leather visor with an adjustable chinstrap. Black silk lining material, with a thin black leather sweatband. There are two small moth holes on the underside of the hat on the back, you must lift up the edge of the hat in order to see them. An additional 7mm hole can be found on the rear of the cap band just below the two aforementioned bites. The sweatband is securely sewn to the body, showing splits and tears from handling. The hat is not crushed or broken, and display very nicely. Small size.
