Original era manufacture. Nice dark brown color to the helmet shell which has a gloss finish, replaced star, but looks ok, proper, original rivets in place.Very nice leather and pigskin liner with its cotton drawstring in place. The inside rim of the helmet is size marked large, the canvas chinstrap loop in the rear of the helmet is original, but I believe the chinstrap itself is of newer manufacture. A very presentable looking helmet.
