Original era manufacture. Standard WWII issue Japanese field telephone, with wooden case. The telephone is complete with its handset and crank, but the extra earpiece is missing.The case is sound, showing normal age and wear, with a data plate on the front cover. The lid locks in position properly, and the front portion of the body will unlock and pivot forward, revealing the internals for maintenance. This example comes with its original brown leather transport case, which is complete except for the adjustable shoulder strap. All connecting straps and buckles are present, and there is a canvas tool pocket inside the lid.
