Original era manufacture. Handmade, all cotton construction field-type cap, tan cotton body, with a white cotton lining.At the front of the hat is a white stitched emblem of an airplane, sewn to a tan cotton backing, which in turn is formed around a cardboard stiffener. Below, a matching material chinstrap secured with two small plastic buttons. Three hand-sewn ventilators on each side of the cap, with lacing adjustment in the back.
