Original era manufacture. Years ago we purchased a number of these old green glass beer bottles reportedly taken from a sunken Japanese transport ship in Truk Lagoon. We had the name of the ship listed in one of our old catalogs but haven't had the time to look it up again. This bottle was sold to a local collector years ago and was recently re-acquired by us when we purchased his collection. Overall the bottle is sound with kanji characters at the base, typical scratches and small nicks.
