Original era manufacture. Aluminum bodied enlisted canteen with portions of its original brown paint remaining. There is a rather dramatic bullet strike at the base of the canteen, bottom front. The suspension harness is intact, with a washed out name label on the front vertical panel. Original wooden stopper with leather connecting strap.
