Original era manufacture. A really great looking Japanese WWII Civil Defense helmet, likely worn by a unit leader or official. White painted front and rear with two white stenciled bars flanking a central cherry blossom emblem, kanji has been translated to Sunakawa Unit. The helmet is complete with its original white cotton liner and chinstrap. Normal age and wear.
