Original era manufacture. Kokura arsenal marked type 30 bayonet with a shortened blade with a Bowie type point. The muzzle ring was removed and the steel was nicely dressed down. Gray steel surface with evidence of old cleaned corrosion. Type a thing a GI or Marine would do with a captured bayonet.
