Original period manufacture. Early production bayonet by Kokura. Hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel, contoured wood grips and a bright finished blade. The metal portions of the bayonet are quite sound but would mention that I think someone wiped some cold blue on the blade at some point as it looks to be a little darker than it should. The grip show their original finish and light marring and bumping. Nice blue steel scabbard with no denting.
