Original period manufacture. Early production bayonet by Kokura with the serial number placed on the top of the blade tang rather than on the pommel. Hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel, contoured wood grips and a bright finished blade. The bayonet is very clean, light surface denting to the blue steel scabbard, original finish on the grips.
