Original period manufacture. This interesting lot consists of around 20 main pieces, and was purchased at a militaria show over 3 years ago. Yes, it has been sitting in a tub all this time waiting to be put on our site. Goes to show you that it is a good idea to dig around in old boxes sometimes. The lot was purchased from an old friend of ours who related that the lot consisted of souvenirs brought home by one American Soldier or Marine, after the end of WWII.The lot consists of the following; Japanese Army issue enlisted haversack, Army issue 3 piece messkit with an articulated handle, shaving brush, razor in its box, a selection of assorted insignia, some type of powder in a circular box, cigarettes and case, with a handwritten inscription, toothpowder box, toothbrush, Army enlisted brass waistbelt buckle, collapsible aluminum drinking cup, an extra messkit tray, and lastly, two clear plastic bags full of ceramic beads. Most of the items are either obviously Japanese military, or have Japanese writing or markings on them.
