Original era manufacture. A well made wooden box measuring 18.5x9x7 inches, with metal handles on each side, and a brass handle at top front center. Original Japanese Navy marked data plate on the front edge of the lid. Looks to have had interior partions originally but they have long since been removed. The box is quite sound and great for storage, only detraction to mention is a small crack in the lid near a screw. There are two lock keys included but the lock does stick, what works best is to press on the lock itself to release the lid.
