Original era manufacture. Overall measurement is 30.5 inches with a 22 inch blade. The blade is clean, runs straight and true with light staining to the surface with a bright finish. Deep brass patina to the guard and pommel, fish skin grip bound with single strand twisted wire. Steel patina finish scabbard with a single carrying ring, with numerous dents to the surface towards the bottom, no corrosion issues. The braided brown leather knot was on the sword at the time of our purchase. The blade sometimes sticks in the scabbard, some light tapping on the underside of the blade with a rubber mallet will allow it to be drawn.
