Original era manufacture. Standard pattern police sword with a 22 inch polished steel blade. The surface of the blade displays a foolish attempt at sharpening the edge by using a power tool. Some folks just need to have the electricity shut off some times. Nice old brass patina to the guard, back strap and pommel. Fish skin wrapped grip bound with single strand twisted brass wire. Dark steel patina finish scabbard with scattered denting along it's length.
