Original era manufacture. Noway for me to tell if this is military issue, but can say thatit was part of a Japanese collection purchased by us about a year ago, and are typical of the era.Threefolding saw bladesfit into a wooden grip which is marked with Kanji characters on one side. The blades measure 9 inches in length, and when extended, the overall length is 20.5 inches. Sound, displaying normal age and wear.
