Original era manufacture. I believe the intent of this crazy contraption was that the longer set of straps went around the wearers head, with the shorter strap going underneath his chin, and connecting to the bottom of the receiver. Keeping it strapped securely to his head.Overall quite sound with the original connecting wires and leads intact.
