Original period manufacture. Heavy, molded paper helmet, the profile of which is very similar to a German helmet. Brown painted finish, with a minimal liner and sweatband, with a Japanese style chinstrap. Inside the crown of the helmet is a paper makers label.The drawstring used to adjust the height of the liner suspension is missing. Very clean, light age and wear.
