Original era manufacture. A printed lightweight silk flag featuring handwritten kanji characters throughout. The flag measures roughly 28x36 inches and is in generally clean condition, beyond normal handling and age. There is some light wear around it's edges and the paper reinforcing tabs in the corners are fragile. A 25 mm circular hole in the body of the flag next to the Hinomaru is about the only real issue with the flag.
