Original era manufacture. Printed cotton Japanese national flag measuring 14 x 10 inches. It is attached to a small telescoping metal pole of three sections, and is accompanied by a small green cloth storage bag. The flag is wrinkled and stained from age, with some small holes along the bottom edge. The green cloth storage bag  is a bit of a tight-fit but can be done. The outside shows Japanese Kanji, scattered small holes and tears.
