Original era manufacture. Oval shaped brass identity tag, with rectangular slots on each end for wear. The tag is taped to a sheet of paper giving details as to the markings on the tag, Identifying the unit as an Engineer unit, attached to the 54th Independent Mixed Brigade, based on the island of Mindanao, Philippines during WWII.     The translation was performed in 1995, by a Mr. Tom Long of California.
