Original era manufacture. A nice quality sword with a 30.5 inch chromed steel blade, which runs straight & true. The blade is quite clean save for some corrosion bubbling, and lifting of the plating near the tip.Decorative brass guard with minimal embellishments indicating a Company Grade officer, black composition grip bound with triple strand wire. Wrapped around the guard is an original black wool officers quality knot with a gold wire slide; a rarity in itself.Very clean chromed steel scabbard with a single small dent in its surface. It is unusual in that it has two suspension rings. No corrosion issues.
