Original period manufacture. Large frame binoculars complete with canvas lens covers and canvas neck strap. The right side lens has two range grids, vertical and horizontal. They are in proper collimation but are a little murky. Gray canvas covered cardboard bodied case, complete with its original shoulder strap. Inside the lid are lens filters. Named on the outside of the case to a DEARDEN, and on the shoulder strap DE-DEARDEN. A quick look on Ancestry shows an aviation Marine who went to Japan during the Korean War era, likely picked up the bino's there or perhaps in Korea.
