Original era manufacture. Dramatic dark steel patina finished helmet with holes rusted through the helmet surface. Additionally the top has rusted through in several places. The helmet is basically sound with a good ring to the steel in spite of the age, with traces of paint remaining on the interior. Sorry, no idea which island it was recovered from.
