Original era manufacture. Standard pattern Army canteen but of brown enameled steel with an aluminum topped cork stopper. Green canvas harness with faint issue stamps on the inside of the strap. The stopper is held in place with a green cloth strap which is supposed to tie in place to a small loop on the front of the canteen harness. That loop is missing, otherwise the canteen is quite clean.
