Original era manufacture. Square pommel, straight guard, fullerless blue finished blade with non-contoured wooden grips. Arrow M arsenal proof on the ricasso. The blade is quite clean, unsharpened , nice wood grips with a period looking white kanji painted on the obverse grip plate.Rubberized canvas scabbard & frog combination showing typical age cracking. No real loss of the rubberized surface material, the scabbard tip has been bumped a bit and slightly flattened.
