Original era manufacture. A sound late war Type 30 bayonet produced by the Korean Jinsen Arsenal.Blue finished steel blade without fullers, straight guard, straight grips and square pommel. The blade displays an even gray steel patina finish without corrosion issues. The guard and pommel show a mix of blue finish and steel patina, minor surface corrosion.Straight wooden grip plates secured with two steel rivets, typical marring and denting from service use.'Olive green painted wooden scabbard, with a crack on the top side running from the upper band of string binding, to the bottom of the throat. Another crack on the reverse, running diagonally from the bottom of the upper string binding to the leading edge of the scabbard. Decent amount of original olive green paint finish remains, and the scabbard remains quite sound, not frail and fragile.Rare olive green canvas frog which is missing its securing strap and buckle.
