Original era manufacture. Late war era bayonet by the Toyada Automatic Loom wooks. Blue finished blade without fullers, straight guard, square pommel with contoured wooden grips. Varnished wooden scabbard bound with twine and a pointed metal tip. The scabbard is made in two pieces, no cracks or missing portions of the wood. The lower binding is unraveled a bit. A sound example showing typical age and wear.
