Original period manufacture. A nicely modified/repaired Japanese bayonet frog. Leather lower portion, with the belt loop being replaced by a rubberized canvas belt loop, perhaps from a soldiers belt. This is secured to the lower portion by four thin steel nails, all been there forever. Sound overall, missing the securing strap and buckle.
