Original era manufacture.A bronze badge and mounting pin, with a gilded cherry blossom at center. The gilding has toned with age with a pleasing bronze patina to the metal. Measures 33 x 38 mm. In its original balsa wood issue box. Awarded to naval aircrew and mechanics for skills in flight and maintenance.
