Original era manufacture. Gold painted black silk ribbon with 4 stenciled characters. Thank you John for this wonderful translation:The item # 28558 navy cap ribbon is not a ship, it reads Kure kai hei dan and in English is Kure sailors Association. This is a ribbon for the Kure naval base for sailors in training. The Kure ribbon is a little harder to find than Sasebo or Yokusuka. Nice ribbon.
