Original era manufacture.A bronze badge and mounting pin, with a gilded anchort center. The gilding has toned with age with a pleasing bronze patina to the metal. Measures 33 x 38 mm. Compass based design. In its original balsa wood box of issue. Awarded to Japanese Navy enlisted sailors who displayed proficiency in seamanship and navigation.
