Original era manufacture. A very clean pair of IJN large frame late war produced 7x7x10 binoculars. The overall exterior condition is very, very nice, no issues with the rough texture frame paint, or the gloss black paint. It's original neck strap made of cloth and leather is also quite nice, with two navy gray lens covers attached to each side.Near new condition cloth covered cardboard carrying case with a navy gray paint finish. Its original black cloth shoulder strap is intact, as is the leather closure tab.The individual adjustable lenses work after a fashion, but the view is murky and needs a cleaning. The center hinge pin which allows the binoculars to be adjusted for viewing width is very stiff. I believe these binoculars were brought home from WWII, put in a closet and forgotten about, and over time the lenses clouded over and the frame pin stiffened up from lack of movement.Great looking set of binoculars for display, and perhaps with a bit of work, could be brought back to life again.
