Original era manufacture. Liquid filled aviation compass as used by Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft during WWII. The magnetic float dial turns, as does the dial on the front. The sheet metal reverse cover retains only one of it's securing screws, nomenclature decal on the top. Used on a variety of aircraft types including the Nakajima B5-N "Kate" Torpedo Bomber.
