Original era manufacture. Issue quality IJN enlisted Donald Duck hat in dark blue navy wool with it's issue tag sewn into the black cotton lining. Standard cap tally of embroidered golden cotton characters on a black silk ribbon. There is some scattered mothing to the top of the hat, however being of a dark material it makes it somewhat difficult to see. We had a removable white cotton top on our website previously, we have added it to this cap, it fits well, looks great and covers up the moth bites perfectly. The thin elastic chinstrap is present but broken on one side and hanging literaly by a thread in the center. Should be an easy fix if you're handy with needle and thread.
